Gold Luster

IRIDESIUM – Gold Luster

Gold pearlescent pigments are the second most popular pearlescent pigments in the world with a vast market share and ample variety of common applications.

Gold pigments display highly intense and lustrous gold effects. Gold pearlescent pigments are produced by mica platelets coated with combinations of Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide. The different Golden Lustre shades are obtained by varying the ratio of Iron Oxide to Titanium Dioxide. Particle size affects the level of brilliance and lustre.

Pritty produces 3 different particle sizes in the TiO2/Fe2O3 family: 10-60µm, 5-25µm and 10-100µm.
