Powder Coating Application
Powder coating, literally speaking, is a type of coating in the form of 100% powder.Comparing to Convectional paint, Powder Coating does not contain any liquid carrier. It is sprayed onto the substrate surface in powder form, then baked, melted, leveled and cured to form a thin film.
Aluminum & Bronze Powder are popular for Metallic Effect powder coating. However both Aluminum & Bronze Powder have its limits especially for exterior application.
Pritty’s TechnoGrey provides very close effect to Aluminum; Corinthium provides very close effect to Bronze Powder.
Most Powder Coating products require weather resistance ability. Pritty Nacreium Pigments has passed Q-U-V 2000 hours test conducted by Atlas South Florida Test Service in Miami, USA, as well as 6 years inland weather test in Miami. Some Pritty products passed QUALILAB test via pritty’s end users.
There are two producing methods using special effect pigment into powder coating: dry mixing and bonding. When special effect pigment is used, the powder coating producers could face issues such as, gun-blocking, little coating dosage, uneven surface and so on. These issues are universal; it prevents the powder coating manufactures feeling free to use special effect pigments in their designs.
After years of research and experiments, Pritty lunched “POWDER COATING” grade Pearls, it is functional product with post treatment, it provides solutions to these universal issues in the Powder Coating Industry. The advantages of Pritty Powder Coating Pearls are:
